So yeah I have been attempting to form some thoughts about Dragon Con. But seeing as how I had to jump right back into internship/class/real life crap and Ramadan started yesterday, I just haven't had the energy to do more than edit and upload the photos from my digital camera. Which can be found here: http://s5.photobucket.com/albums/y164/erinanderson/Dragon%20Con%202008/

Anywho I did figure I'd at least list the panels I went to and maybe remembering what panels/events I went to will help jog my swiss cheese like memory. on Friday I attended the Nathan Fillion/Alan Tudyk panel, then danced a jig over to the Babylon 5 panel with Jerry Doyle and Walter Koenig (two of the greatest, nicest, funniest guys you will ever have the pleasure of meeting) and then raced like mad back to the Sheraton for the Dr. Horrible Sing-Along (watched on a big screen AND performed live with 5000 of my closest friends. "That's the plan, rule the world!"). Saturday was the Torchwood panel (apparently more tame then Friday's version *sad*), the Stargate panel (front row seats, THANKS PAT!!!), and then dashing off to a photo with Dominic Keating and Gareth David Lloyd (oh yes I love me some hot British men) and then Dominic's solo panel (he fenced AND sang!). Sunday was sitting around for 3 hours in line for the BSG panel (got a story to tell about that one and James Callis, debating on whether or not I should share, I don't want him to seem like an ass or anything), then it was off to the races for the Don S. Davis Memorial Panel (SAD!! OMG when Cliff let loose with the tears I couldn't hold it in anymore), then back to the Sheraton for the Miss Klingon Pageant (riotously funnier than I thought it would be, totally made of win). Monday was just Robert Picardo's panel in the morning (so glad I dragged my ass outta bed for that one, he was AWESOME!) and then spent the rest of the day chilling at the Walk of Fame with Cliff and Dominic acting like a bunch of goofballs, snapping pics and saying goodbye. Friday night was spent eating dinner with Pat, Saturday was dinner with Pat/Cliff/Marsha (director of the Stargate Offworld Track) and people watching with [info]pensive1  and then ducking into the Saturday night Colonial Fleet bash (at the perfect time, there's another story) and then Sunday was spent people watching again with [info]pensive1 and Johnny (Dragon Con security and all around nice guy!). So yeah that's my weekend in a nutshell. Be back later with more in depth stories, I promise!

And I am shattered (to steal a phrase from the oh so gorgeous Dominic Keating). It was an AWESOME weekend that was at times overwhelmingly, long, tiring, exhilirating, entertaining, and just plain fun. Words cannot describe how much this weekend was made of win, how many new friends I made or much my old friends cemented their status as way cool people. Pictures and reports to come in the following days as soon as I can reflect some more and form coherent thoughts.....
